Ishpeming – Working people from the local area will “Stand Up for Unions” on Wednesday, February 6 at 7 p.m. in the parking lot at the Westwood High School.
The event is prior to the Westwood vs. Negaunee Boys Varsity Basketball game. The rally will feature speeches, at least one song, and a hint of comedy. Representatives of the Nice Teachers’ Association, Negaunee Teachers’ Association, the Trade Council and other unions are expected to attend.
The public is welcome and encouraged to participate.
