Marquette – Northern Michigan University will mark the 100th anniversary of International Women’s Day and celebrate Women’s History Month with a series of March activities. This year’s theme is “Our History is Our Strength.”
Native American artist and author Lois Beardslee will offer a presentation on Tuesday, March 22 at 7 p.m., Jamrich 102. Also, a self-identity panel sponsored by Women for Women will be offered at 7 p.m., Jamrich 103
The events are free and open to the public.
