Marquette – The Ninth Annual Celebrity Art Auction will be held on Thursday, December 6 with viewing at 5:30 p.m. and the auction beginning at 7 p.m. at The Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum in Marquette.
Admission is free and the public is encouraged to attend. The event is sponsored by the Marquette Jaycees, Super One Foods, Marquette Wallpaper and Paint, Sayklly’s Confectionery and gifts, Border Grill and Pike Distributing.
All adults are invited to come to the Museum for a fun event featuring original works of art by some of the community’s most unexpected artists, In all, 32 “artists” will do their best to show their artistic sides.
Along with the auction, headed up by Auctioneer Al Hunter, there will be fine wines and beer, an array of appetizers and a chocolate fountain to enjoy. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Children’s Museum.
