Negaunee – The Marquette County Humane Society will offer two cat adoption specials Thursday and Friday, July 29 and 30. The first five people approved to adopt a cat or kitten age 6 months or older on each of those days will have the adoption fees paid for 100 percent by shelter supporters.
The offer applies to one cat per adopter and will be on a first come, first served basis. In addition, adoption fees for all cats and kittens will be discounted 50 percent.
The MCHS is located at 84 Snowfield Road in Negaunee Township. Hours are noon to 4 p.m. seven days a week. For more information, or to sponsor a cat or donate items to the shelter, visit www.upaws.org or call 475-6661.
