Marquette – The Marquette Turkey Trot 5K and 10K run/walk will be held on Thursday, November 22 at 9 a.m., rain, snow, or shine, beginning at the canopy entrance of the Marquette Senior High School.
The entry fee is $10 per person with proceeds benefit the MSHS Orchestra. Add $20 for a total of $30 per person to include a T-shirt with shirt sales to benefit MSHS’s Business Professionals of America.
Registration will be from 8 to 8:40 a.m. at MSHS Canopy Entrance/MSHS Room 101. The 1st overall male and female in the 5K and 10K will receive a trophy. Leashed dogs are welcome on the course, and a trophy will be presented at the finish line to the fastest overall dog in the 5K and also the 10K.
Participants may also drop off items for the TV6 Canathon canned food drive. Pre-registered runners can pick up their race numbers and t-shirts on Wednesday, November 21 from 5-7 pm at MSHS Canopy Entrance. Pre-registered runners can also pick up numbers and t-shirts on race day.
