Negaunee – The Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter will hold a “Treats No Tricks” adoption event from Thursday. October 18 through Wednesday, October 31 at the shelter, 84 Snowfield Road, Negaunee Township.
During this time, kitten adoption fees will be $45, cat adoptions will be $25 or less, and dog adoptions will be 25 percent off. The adoption fee includes spaying or neutering, a distemper vaccination, a rabies vaccination, a general health check, microchip, 30 days free pet insurance and a bag of Dr. Tim’s pet food.
Shelter hours are noon to 4 p.m. every day except Thursday, where there are extended hours from noon to 6:30 p.m. For information, call 475-6661 or visit www.upaws.org
