Marquette – A BBQ Benefit for the NMU Cheer Team will be held on Sunday, September 25 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Steinhaus Market, 1651 S. Front Street in Marquette.
This event will be Wildcat themed with appearances from the NMU Cheerleaders, Men’s Basketball Team, Wildcat Willy and more. Come for a quick bite to eat or stay and enjoy our family friendly activities. There will be coloring, side-walk chalk, games and bubbles. Athletes will be there to sign free autographs, so bring your favorite ball, jersey or sports memorabilia to have it signed.
The event will also include bucket raffles, silent auctions and door prizes throughout the day.
Advanced tickets will be sold at the Steinhaus Market for $10 each and include admission and a fabulous BBQ chicken and pulled pork meal served by the Steinhaus Market and Steinhaus Family. Tickets at the door will be $12.
All of the proceeds from the BBQ will go directly to the NMU Cheer team. Donations are also welcome!
