Marquette – Strut Your Mutt 2013, a charity walk for homeless pets, will be held on Saturday, September 7 at Mattson Lower Harbor Park. Early Bird Registration will taken until Saturday, August 31.
Register early and enter your dog into a drawing to be selected as the official “Leader of the Pack” to lead the start of the walk. Make your own Strut Your Mutt online fundraiser page. All proceeds will help the nearly 2000 homeless pets the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter cares for each year.
Early Bird registration is $15 per adult and $5 per youth. For a registration form, visit www.upaws.org or stop by UPAWS at 84 Snowfield Road in Negaunee Township.
