Marquette – The Marquette Regional History Center will host “Feeding the Spirit: From Farm to Table” on Saturday, September 29 from 3 to 9 p.m. at Seeds and Spores Family Farm and the Chiodi Farm.
Explore a local farm, learn about the region’s history of farming, discuss the nation’s renewed interest in its relationship to food and share in a five course meal steeped with local traditions and culture.
Tickets are $50 each and are available at the History Center, Marquette Food Co-op or online at www.marquettehistory.org. For more information on the event or locations of the farms, call 226-3571.
The event will benefit the Marquette Regional History Center’s new building campaign.
