Marquette – The Marquette County Horse Club will host a benefit for Piper’s Rescue Ranch in Wallace with a Poker Run Trail Ride on Saturday, September 29 beginning at 10 a.m. at the Marquette County Fair Grounds.
A meet and greet with Carrie Cramer and some of her animals will be held at 3 p.m. Piper’s Rescue Ranch is a non-profit organization run by Cramer with the help of many volunteers and is a no-kill shelter that does not turn away any horse, dog or other domestic animal, giving them a second chance at rehabilitation and quality of life until they are able to be adopted.
On Saturday evening, there will be a pig roast dinner with all the fixings for a $10 donation. There will also be a silent auction, raffle items and dancing.
