Marquette – Celebrate the hockey spirit of Marquette at the third annual “Hockey on Third” parade on Friday, September 28 beginning at 5:30 p.m. on North Third Street near the NMU campus continuing along Third Street ending at Baraga Avenue.
The parade will feature local hockey teams of all ages as part of the celebration held in conjunction with the Old Timers Hockey Tournament.
Following the parade, the Marquette Regional History Center will host a public awards ceremony where three lucky teams will be presented with cash prizes sponsored by Range Bank.
At 7 p.m., the Marquette Downtown Development Authority invites fans of all ages to the Marquette Commons for an outdoor screening of The Mighty Ducks.
