Rapid River – The annual Big Bang – Shoot for the Arts event will be held on Saturday, July 19 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Black Duck Sporting Clays in Rapid River.
Cost is $45 for 50 shots, or $40 if participants provide their own ammunition. Profits from the event benefit the Bonifas Fine Arts Center in Escanaba.
A hit earns a ticket for the prize drawing at the end of shooting. Those who can't shoot on Saturday may shoot before the event and be eligible for prizes by informing Black Duck staff they are participating in the fund-raiser.
Prizes include firearms, knives, outdoor art and meals in area restaurants.
Grilled brats and burgers and homemade pies will be available for purchase. For more information, call 786-3833.
