Summer Cinema Screens “We Bought a Zoo”

Summer Cinema hosts a screening of “We Bought a Zoo” on Tuesday, August 21 at 4:30 pm in the Peter White Public Library Community Room.

Starring Matt Damon and Scarlett Johansson, this family film is the story of Benjamin who gives up a lucrative newspaper job when his teenage son gets in trouble and moves the family to the countryside of southern California. With help from an eclectic staff and with many misadventures along the way, Benjamin embarks on a fresh beginning to restore a struggling and dilapidated zoo to its former glory, while uniting his family.

The 2011 film is based on the memoir by Benjamin Mee, rated PG and runs for 124 minutes.

Summer Cinema features delicious library café specials by Tu Kaluthia available for purchase and recently released feature films in a dinner theater setting.
