3 Mile Road Bridge Work Over I-75 Starts Monday in the Soo

ESTIMATED COMPLETION DATE: Friday, Sept. 27, 2013
PROJECT: The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be resurfacing the 3 Mile Road bridge over I-75 in Sault Ste. Marie.
TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS: MDOT will maintain traffic on 3 Mile Road with temporary traffic signals. I-75 will have one lane open to traffic in each direction at all times. Northbound I-75 traffic headed for westbound 3 Mile Road will be detoured north to the Easterday Avenue exit, and south on I-75 to 3 Mile Road. Eastbound 3 Mile Road traffic headed for northbound I-75 will be detoured west on 3 Mile Road, north on 20th Street, northeast on Oak Street, and east on 4th Avenue and Easterday Avenue to I-75.
