Marquette – Songs of the Silver Screen, a concert saluting 100 years of film music, will be held on Thursday, August 16 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Bob Buchkoe, Stan Wright and Kaitlin Wright are among the performers who will strive to sound like the original soundtracks, including numbers from “Gone With the Wind” to “Lord of the Rings.” Many of the musical numbers have been arranged by Buchkoe.
Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for children.
