Marquette – The City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center’s First Thursday Concert series will present professional singer, Kirsten Gustafson on Thursday, October 2 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Gustafson, an Upper Peninsula native, began singing professionally in the late 1970’s with a band whose repertoire included rock, pop, country, disco and polkas. In 1990, she moved to Chicago and signed
with Atlantic Records. In 1991, Gustafson recorded her first CD “You
Taught My Heart to Sing.” She has performed in countless clubs,
festivals and venues across the U.S. and Europe.
