Baraga – Baraga Lumberjack Days will feature “Mardi Gras by the Bay” Tuesday, July 3 and Wednesday, July 4 at various locations in Baraga.
There will be a Queen Coronation and Fat Tuesday Street Dance on Tuesday from 7:30 p.m. to 12:30 am.
On Wednesday, July 4 there will be a Liberty 5k “Let Freedom Run” run/walk beginning with registration at 7:30 a.m. The Lions Club will offer a pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon.
A Children’s Parade and Games will begin at noon and the Main Parade will ba at 3:30 p.m. Teen and Adult games, and Karaoke will follow the parade.
A Nite Shirt Parade will be held at 9:30 p.m. followed by spectacular fireworks over Keweenaw Bay sponsored by the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community.
