Ishpeming – The Cliff Shaft Mine Museum will be opening for the season on Tuesday, June 12 at 501 W. Euclid Street in Ishpeming.
There is a new gold mining display depicting the different types of equipment used in the mining of Gold and a new railroad display honoring Lake Superior and Ishpeming Railroad’s 150th anniversary.
The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday with a nominal admission. For more information, call 485-1882.
