Grand Marais – Independence Day activities will begin with a parade on Friday, July 4 at 11 a.m. in Grand Marais.
Festivities continue during the day with children's games offered in town.
A firefighter's competition will be held at 2 p.m. and veterans will conduct a flag disposal for anyone with worn or damaged flags at 4 p.m.
,p>A street dance will begin at 6:30 p.m. and fireworks will be over the bay at dusk.
