Sands – The Marquette County Fair will take place Thursday, August 13 through Sunday, August 16 at the fairgrounds on M-533 in Sands.
Hook Tracks 4-H club will be selling Discount Cards, good at many area businesses, during the fair in the livestock barn. The cards are good for a year.
Enjoy the rides, the music, the food and the exhibits at the Marquette County Fair. Hours are noon to 10 p.m. on Thursday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
Opening Day Events are:
10 a.m.Judging of all Poultry, Rabbits
11 a.m.Judging of Market Animals followed by Fitting and showing
12 p.m.Exhibits open to the public
1 p.m.Darrell Dixson (Gazebo)
2 p.m. Sheep Herding Demo
4 to 8 p.m. Antique Car Show
5 p.m. Poultry and Rabbit Showmanship
5:30 p.m. Fun Run
6 p.m. Tiny C Hart and the Hartbeats (Gazebo)
