Marquette – The Upper Peninsula Regional Blood Center at Marquette General Health System will sponsor Everyday Hero Day on Monday, June 30 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Blood Center, 437 W. College Avenue.
Donors will be given free subs, coleslaw, potato salad, ice cream sandwiches and refreshments, and will be eligible to win $25 gas cards. The first 75 donors will receive a free patriotic T-shirt. The blood center also will give away $200 in summer prizes.
The blood center provides blood products to 13 U.P. hospitals. For more information, call 225-4610.
