The U.P. Volunteer Network will sponsor a free training session for U.P. organizations that use volunteers. Keys to Effective Volunteer Management will be offered on Monday, February 18 from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Marquette-Alger Regional Educational Service Agency, 321 E. Ohio Street in Marquette. Lunch will be provided. Topics will include planning a volunteer program and understanding, orienting, training and supervising volunteers. Space is limited.
