MDOT to Review M-26 Plans in Tamarack May 9, 2012

WHAT: Representatives from the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) Ishpeming Transportation Service Center (TSC) will review construction plans for M-26 in Tamarack during a public meeting. Osceola Township officials also will be in attendance to discuss plans to upgrade underground township utilities during the project.

BACKGROUND: MDOT will be reconstructing 0.6 miles of M-26 in Tamarack this construction season, tentatively scheduled to begin May 10 and be completed by Sept. 21. The work will require a traffic shift and lane closures under flag control.
