Marquette – The U.P. Health Education Corporation is sponsoring a Guardianship Training session on Tuesday, June 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Michigan Room of the University Center at NMU in Marquette.
The program will focus on guardianship issues in the healthcare delivery setting, alternatives to guardianship, health care decision making, assessing mental capacity and contested guardianships.
The training is geared toward health care workers, those in the legal field, and those interested in careers in health care, elder care law and/or advocacy.
There is a $25 nonrefundable registration fee which covers lunch and materials. Space is limited. Register by June 20 at noon by calling UPHEC at 228-7970.
