Marquette – Mindy Miller, MSW, a therapist with Marquette General Behavioral Health, will explain the issues relating to Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder on Tuesday, May 1 from noon to 1 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
OCD is an anxiety disorder in which people have unwanted and repeated thoughts, feelings or behaviors (obsessions), that make them feel driven to do something (compulsions.)
Attendees are invited to bring their own lunch or buy from the library café. Beverages will be provided. There is no admission charge and no pre-registration is required.
This presentation is part of Your Mind Matters, a community dialog on mental health issues sponsored by a coalition of community groups and the Peter White Public Library.
