Marquette – The Marquette County Health Department will offer a free Quit Tobacco workshop on Thursday, February 4 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Snowberry Heights in Marquette.
The workshop will offer strategies to make quitting easier and information on medications. To register, call 315-2621.
The health department also has smoking quit kits available free of charge. Along with print resources, there are call-in numbers such as the National Cancer Institute’s Quit Line, 1-877-448-0848, which offers individuals the chance to speak with counselors about their plan to quit smoking.
