Marquette – Enjoy a meal and a movie on Thursday, March 8 at the Peter White Public Library.
The buffet style dinner is provided by local favorite, Border Grill,and begins at 5:30 p.m.
The film presentation for the evening is “Moneyball” starring Brad Pitt, Robin Wright and Jonah Hill.
Advance purchase tickets of $12 per person to cover the cost of the meal are required to attend this event. Tickets may be purchased at the library circulation desk or by calling 228-9510 on or before March 7. Tickets will not be available at the door.
Released in September 2011, “Moneyball” is the story of Oakland A’s general manager Billy Beane’s successful attempt to put together a baseball club on a budget by employing computer-generated analysis to draft his players.
The film was nominated for 6 Academy Awards, runs for 113 minutes and is rated PG-13.
