Marquette – The Marquette Choral Society will perform its “A Wreath of Carols” concert on Saturday, December 6 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 7 at 3 p.m. at St. Peter Cathedral in Marquette.
The concert will feature 10 carols from the Christmas music of Marquette native and composer Alfred Burt. Also included will be recent arrangements by Alice Parker and Robert Shaw of traditional Christmas carols. The audience will be invited to sing along with several carols.
The 117-member Choral Society is directed by Floyd Slotterback and accompanied by Sandra Balmer on piano.
