Marquette – Peter White Public Library will host a jam session celebrating traditional folk music on Sunday, December 14 from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Community Room of the library.
Local acoustic musicians may bring guitar, fiddle, banjo, bass or voice to play and sing old-time folk music tunes by the Carter Family, Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan and others.
This informal gathering is for people interested in playing or singing with others who enjoy traditional acoustic music. Light refreshments will be provided.
