MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Chinese Organization at Northern Michigan University is inviting the campus and community to its Chinese New Year party on Friday, Jan. 27. The event is scheduled from 6-9 p.m. in the Ontario Room of the University Center. There is no charge to attend.
The party will include a presentation on the Chinese lunar New Year and culture, a traditional Chinese game such as mahjong, a trivia contest and traditional Chinese New Year food.
