Marquette – The film “Time For Burning” will be shown on Thursday, January 26 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library in Marquette.
The film is about the pastor of an all white Lutheran Church in Omaha, Nebraska during the 1960’s who tries to get the congregation to reach out to their fellow black Lutherans.
The film is being shown in conjunction with the Michigan Humanities Council’s Great Michigan Read featuring Kevin Boyle’s book “Arc of Justice.”
