Marquette – Marquette Mountain Racing Team (MMRT) will sponsor its annual ski, hockey, and winter sport swap fundraiser Friday and Saturday, November 4 and 5 at Lakeview Arena.
The public can drop off equipment to be sold between noon and 6 p.m. Friday, November 5. The general public sale will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, November 6. Unsold equipment must be picked up from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
Purchase an Early Bird ticket in advance from participating vendors and locations to enter and shop at 9 a.m. Go to skimmrt.com for a list of places to purchase these tickets. Tickets are $10 per individual ticket. Kids 15 and under will be admitted free when accompanied by an adult. There are a limited number of Early Bird tickets available.
A selection of downhill and cross country skis, boots, and poles and a large selection of snowboard equipment will be available. There will be a large selection of children’s equipment. Several ski and snowboard shops will have new and used equipment at the swap.
New this year will be a selection of hockey and other winter sport equipment.
An 18 percent commission of all sales supports MMRT junior racing. MMRT is a nonprofit, parent run organization that provides training and regularly scheduled ski races for youths ages 7 to 18.
