Marquette – A rummage sale fundraiser for Anthony Lackey will be held on Saturday, June 11 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the social room of First United Methodist Church, 111 E. Ridge Street, Marquette.
Proceeds will assist Lackey with expenses related to his upcoming trip to Australia with People To People International, a group which promotes world peace and an understanding of other cultures. Lackey was supposed to make the trip in 2010 but had to cancel due to a broken leg.
To donate items for the sale, call the Lackeys at 249-1053. Clothing will not be accepted.
