Marquette – The Noquemanon Trail Network’s Twin Peaks Train Run iwill be held on Saturday, June 11 beginning at noon at the South Marquette NTN Trailhead located off of M-553.
This year’s run includes more trail and elevation, making the long run a half marathon. The grassroots race is as unique as it is challenging. Tibetan prayer flags fly above the starting line and each one of the summits that the half marathoners climb has a cowbell that must be rung to avoid disqualification. A less strenuous 5K course run is also offered. Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each run.
