Marquette, Kingsford and Escanaba, MI – Oct. 10, 2011 – October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, a time for women to recognize the importance of breast self-exams and annual mammograms.
To encourage women to receive yearly check-ups and mammograms, Marquette General is offering reduced-rate mammograms with interpretation during October. The total cost for a bilateral mammogram with interpretation is $50. A written order from a physician is required to schedule a mammogram.
Mammograms will be offered at Marquette General Hospital, Marquette Medical Clinic – Kingsford and Doctors Park Family Physicians in Escanaba.
