Harvey – The Marquette County Quilters Association will sponsor the annual Quilters School House Saturday, October 8 beginning with registration at 9 a.m. at St. Louis the King Church in Harvey.
Classes are taught by local experts, offering attendees an opportunity to exchange ideas and learn new techniques. Each class is scheduled for a half day and may be offered only in the morning or afternoon. Participants enroll in two classes.
Topics include will include embellishing fabrics with paint sticks, steel ball frame purse, a zippy purse project, raw-edge applique, back to basics with your Viking sewing machine, sweatshirt jackets, and scarf dyeing.
Cost is $25, which includes lunch. Participants must register in advance by calling Marsha Wentela at 361-8637.
