Marquette – There will be a dance on Sunday, October 26 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Marquette Masonic Building, 128 W. Washington Street, Marquette.
Music will be provided by Ron Jarvinen and the Backwoods Boys. Light foods and nonalcoholic beverages will be available.
Tickets cost $5 and are available at Scandinavian Gifts in downtown Marquette, from Midsummer Committee members, and at the door.
Proceeds will benefit the 2009 Marquette Scandinavian Midsummer Festival, scheduled for June 20 at Presque Isle Park in Marquette.
