“Hank Williams First Nations” Film Presentation March 16

The award-winning film, “Hank Williams First Nations,” will be shown on Friday, March 16 at 8 p.m. at 102 Jamrich Hall on the campus of NMU in Marquette. The film depicts a remote Cree community in northern Canada which takes on a certain charge when one of its own sets out on an ambitious adventure. The cast includes Gordon Tootoosis and Jimmy Herman. It is written and directed by Aaron Sorenson, who will be present to talk about the project and the new television series based on the film.
