Bordertown Plays Summer Concert Series

Ishpeming08/18/2011– Main Street in downtown Ishpeming made space for music listeners of all ages to hear Bordertown entertain them with their collection of classic rock and country songs. From Jerry Reeds’, “16 Tons” and Johnny Cash’s, “Folsom Prison Blues” to Elvis Presley’s, “Little Sister” and Steve Miller’s, “Fly Like An Eagle”; the Thursday Night Summer Concert Series showcased good local talent once again. Bordertown is front man vocalist and guitarist George Knight, rhythm and lead guitarist Mike Cardone, bassist and backup vocalist Matt Brintlinger with fill in drummer Dennis Harold. Lauren Ferguson made a guest appearance to sing,” Way Over Yonder” and back up vocals on “Blue On Black.”

The Summer Concert Series concludes for this year August 25th with the Wednesday Night Music Club performing from 7 to 9 p.m.
