Marquette – The Marquette General Cancer Center, in conjunction with the Michigan Community Blood Centers, will hold a Bone Marrow Donor Registry Drive on Thursday, October 9 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the West Lobby at Marquette General Hospital.
Registering to donate is free of charge, pain-free and simple. Donors must be between the ages of 18-60, fill out a questionnaire and do a quick swab on the inside of the mouth (no blood is drawn).
No appointments are necessary. To access the West Lobby at Marquette General Hospital, enter the Emergency Department entrance off of College Avenue (near the Parking Garage entrance) and park in the designated spots labeled “Bone Marrow Donor Drive Parking Only.” Once parked, follow the signs and enter through the automatic sliding doors to the West Lobby.
