Marquette – A “Performance Appraisals: Blessing Or Curse?” seminar will be held on Thursday, October 9 from 12:30 to 4 p.m. in the Citizens Forum at Lakeview Arena in Marquette.
Topics discussed will include adequate preparation, assessing employees in relation to job responsibilities and demands, observations, common rating errors, observation versus inference, as well as observing, documenting, and evaluating performance.
Participants of this seminar will be able to write performance objectives, establish expectations criteria and performance objective exercises, establish expected behaviors, and help employees meet their goals.
This seminar is sponsored by Northern Michigan Public Service Academy (NMPSA). Seminar fees are $25 for NMPSA members and $80 for non-NMPSA members.
