Marquette – The Central Upper Peninsula Chapter of the Sierra Club will hike a 4-mile trek along the North Country Trail in the Elliott Donnelley Wilderness Area on Saturday August 6 beginning at 10 a.m. at the wilderness parking lot along County Road 550.
The trail follows portions of the Little Garlic Creek and visits Gokey Rock high above Lake Superior, with good views of the lake. Hikers should bring lunch and plenty of water. For more information, call Jeff Knoop at 475-5878.
