Marquette – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will offer a free informational tour of the historic Marquette County Courthouse on Thursday, July 28 from 3 to 5 p.m. with Circuit Court Judge Thomas L. Solka as the guide.
Participants will view the circuit court, judge’s chambers, deliberation room, offices, equipment and library. The guided tour will also highlight special cases previously held there, including one involving a former president, and the role the courthouse played in the film “Anatomy of a Murder.”
This event is limited to 45 participants. Advance registration is required by Monday, July 25. To register, call Paula McCormick at 228-5489.
