Marquette – Applications are now being accepted for The Lake Superior Leadership Academy. The Academy is a professional development class preparing Marquette County’s present and future leaders for new challenges and opportunities.
The Academy begins in October with an overnight retreat, followed by eight full day sessions held one Thursday a month. Sessions each focus on a particular aspect of our area. Participants are exposed to the problems that face our area as well as the wealth of resources that exist for its citizens. The result is a pool of well-informed potential leaders that have a good understanding of how our county works.
If you are interested in applying, please fill out an application and return it to the Lake Superior Community Partnership, 501 South Front Street, Marquette, by Monday, August 1.
