Michigan Iron Industry Museum Entertains Dad With Classic Cars And Trucks

MARQUETTE, MI (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Michigan Iron Industry Museum in Marquette County’s Negaunee Township is hosting an annual event that is one of the most popular Father’s Day activities in the county. The museum is presenting it’s annual “Iron, Steel and the Automobile” show and exhibit this Sunday, June 19-th, which is Father’s Day.

Iron Industry Museum educator Barry James joined Sunny 101.9’s Mark and Walt in the Morning to discuss the lineup of vehicles that will be on display at the event. James says this show will have over 55 cars and light trucks from between the years of 1909 to 1970.

The show will run from noon to 4:00 pm on the grounds of the Michigan Iron Industry Museum and will also feature live music, food and beverages to enjoy with the vehicles. There will be a $3.00 parking fee, but the show is free.
