Marquette – The City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center, along with the Second Skin Shop, will conduct community-wide auditions for the “The Nutcracker” on Sunday, September 14 from 1 to 3 p.m. for ages 13 and younger and from 3 to 5 p.m. for those 14 and older in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library in Marquette.
Auditioners should wear proper dance attire and dance shoes; ballet slippers or pointe shoes are preferred. Dances will be taught at the auditions.
Those chosen to perform will pay a $15 registration fee and a costume fee, with scholarships available.
