Marquette – The City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center, along with the Second Skin Shop, will conduct community-wide auditions for the “The Nutcracker” on Thursday, September 18 from 2 to 4 p.m. for ages 14 and older, and from 4 to 6 p.m. for those 13 and younger in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Auditioners should wear proper dance attire and dance shoes; ballet slippers or pointe shoes are preferred. Dances will be taught at the auditions.
Those chosen to perform will pay a $15 registration fee and a costume fee, with scholarships available.
