Marquette – Weather Over Water with Matt Zika, National Weather Service Meteorologist, will be presented on Saturday, June 11 at 9 a.m. at UpFront and Company in downtown Marquette.
Learn about the National Weather Service’s products and services, as well as challenges of marine weather forecasting, wind and waves, basic cloud identification, and weather topics specific to Lake Superior.There will be a time for questions and open discussion.
Admission is $5 which includes coffee. No registration is required and the event is open to all. Proceeds will go toward room expenses/coffee and the Marquette Yacht Club.
