Marquette – Members of the national nonprofit advocacy group Invisible Children will speak on Tuesday, April 26 at 7 p.m. in the Great Lakes Rooms of the University Center at Northern Michigan University.
The group seeks to end Africa’s longest-running war, bring peace to Uganda and stop the abduction of children to serve as soldiers.
A rescued child soldier who has fought in the war will also share his personal experiences.
