Marquette – The Superior Watershed Partnership is seeking volunteers for a Lake Superior dune restoration project being held on Saturday, October 1 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. along Lake Superior at turnouts off M-28 in Chocolay Township.
Volunteers will transplant native beach grass and pull invasive plant species. Some refreshments will be provided, but volunteers should bring a lunch. Some hand tools and work gloves will be provided, or volunteers can bring their own.
